Galaxy FBO, located at the Conroe North Houston Regional Airport (KCXO), has successfully completed an International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH™) registration.
Galaxy FBO is now one of two FBO facilities with IS-BAH™ in Greater Houston area, and one of only a dozen operators in the State of Texas.
“By incorporating the principles of the IS-BAH program into our daily operations, we have furthered our efforts to raise safety awareness throughout our entire organization,” said John Lowry, General manager for Galaxy FBO CXO. “The result is a safer operational environment for all our stakeholders and a better customer experience.”
IS-BAH™ was established through the efforts of the International Aviation Business Council (IBAC) and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) as a global code to identify and promote the use of industry best practices by means of a progressive Safety Management System (SMS) for both FBOs and Business Aircraft Handling Agencies (BAHA). It follows the structure of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) and the NATA Safety 1st Ground Audit Program.
