Galaxy FBO Addison team hosted the National Business Aviation Association’s Local and Regional Group Committee Round Table.
Steve Hadley, NBAA’s Senior Director for Regional Programs and Southwestern Central Region Liaison helped organized a Local and Regional Group Committee Round Table at the Addison Airport, which attracted many business aviation enthusiasts from all around North Texas and Greater Dallas Metroplex.
The Local and Regional Group Committee is dedicated to serving as an informative resource and advocate for our industry, both among our members and the wider public. We do so in collaboration with numerous local and regional groups across the nation. By fostering improved communication, unwavering committee commitment, and collaborative teamwork, our objective is to offer the Local and Regional Group network the means to exchange resources and ideas, ultimately empowering all groups to enhance their advocacy efforts and operational performance within the industry. In tandem with the support of NBAA, the subcommittee will work towards fortifying transparent communication channels between organizations while creating additional opportunities for networking.
The Round Table hosted by the City of Addison at the Airport offices helped attendees gain insights and practical tips through interactive sessions, panel discussions, and presentations, addressing pertinent topics and challenges faced by regional groups. The welcome reception allowed attendees to engage with industry peers, leaders, and experts on Wednesday Evening, August 16th at the new Galaxy FBO lobby at the Addison Airport. And new for this year, local area aviation related High School and College students were invited to the events, including the Rising Aviation High School at the Addison Airport.
