The U.S. Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) Federal Inspection Station at the Conroe North Houston Regional Airport (CXO) celebrated its first year in service today on September 15th.
U.S. Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) Federal Inspection Station at the CXO Airport, started accepting international flights back in September 15, 2016. A total of 159 international flights were cleared; 934 crew and passengers used Conroe North Houston Regional Airport as their entry point to the United States.
As the northernmost customs clearing facility in the greater Houston area, the U.S. Customs facility allows individuals and corporate customers on international flights to fly directly into CXO airport, avoiding congested Houston airspace at the George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and Houston William P. Hobby (HOU) Airports and creating a time savings and reduced operating costs for operators.
The CBP Federal Inspection Station cleared its 100th international flight back in early May, with two flights originating from Mexico.
The CBP services at KCXO are offered between 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, weekend and after hours clearance can be arranged with advance notice.
